GATSBY CHAPTER 5 NOTES

GATSBY wanted Nick to go to Coney Island with him. Nick said no because it was to later
Nick invited Daisy over for tea
GATSBY also went over and he looked pale and dark signs of sleeplessness beneath his eyes
Daisy thinks Nick is in love with her because he told her to come alone
Both GATSBY and Daisy haven’t met for almost five years
GATSBY thinks seeming Daisy is a terrible mistake
Nick left GATSBY and Daisy alone at his house so they could talk and catch up with each other
When Nick went back Daisy’s face was smeard with tears will GATSBY seemed to glow
GATSBY invited both Nick and Daisy over to his house
GATSBY’s room was the simplest of all
A man in England buys GATSBY clothes
When the slow piano music was playing it seemed like both GATSBY and Daisy forgot Nick was there too
Nick then decided to leave them together
