THE WORLD IS MY LIBERTY

Short story 1- title: “Icarus” author- Lones Seiber
https://www.shortstoryproject.com/library/suspense-stories/
Used to find the book- google, typed “short stories about suspense”
What appealed to me about this story was that how some people are willing to help others out to get their freedom. Also that this story was chosen on of “The Best American Mystery Stories 2012”
Short story 2- title - “Harrison Bergeron” author- Kurt Vonnegut
http://www.shortstoryguide.com/popular-famous-short-stories-to-read-online/
Used to find the book- google, typed “best short stories online”
What appealed to me about this story was that the author created all Americans equal, and that no one is better than someone else. However he is trying send a message that eveyone isn’t equal and that they all have unique characteristics which make them different from one another.
