Reads old books mainly “scientific”
He has another woman in New York
Daisy- she’s “paralyzed with happiness” when she’s introduced
She’s sad and lovely with bright things
Bright eyes and bright passionate mouth
She’s irresponsible
Miss Baker- Slender, small breasted girl
Gray sun- strained eyes
