How I learn

My routines for organizing my school stuff are by doing my homework and separate them by class/period. The way I organize my time is by spending certain minutes doing homework for each class, also taking breaks throughout each assignment so I don’t get overwhelmed. The way I remember new information is by looking at the assignment over and over, and by rewriting it.

Earth on turtle’s back

I believe the “Earth on turtle’s back” gave a good example of never giving up, no matter how hard something is or even sounds. The Muskrat was an example of it. Although she wasn’t as strong as the others she still managed to succeed the harsh obstacle that the others couldn’t.

Reflection on Richard Cory

When I memorized the poem “Richard Cory” I started to think differently. I thought about why he might have killed himself, and I thought about how the poem relates to my life today. It seems like eveyone including myself feel obligated to do certain things to “fit in”. Most people feel unhappy so they act like they have everything under control, like their life’s are “perfect”. However, when they are alone nobody it their to comfort them, because nobody knows how they truly feel. Due to this they feel like nobody cares about them, which leads to their death.

The right to your opinion

I agree with “The right to your opinion” because it says “You don’t really have a right to your own opinion. And the idea that you do, besides being false, is forever being invoked when it would be irrelevant even if it were true”. This shows people don’t really have freedom of speech. If you say your opinion on something some people might take it offensive, while others understand it the way you do.

Socratic Method

I agree with the Socratic method, because it consists of people having different points of views. Those people set different reasonable argument, to support what they believe. However, it makes others create valuable questions to the arguments.
